Incense sticks, dhoop and resins

The premium incense sticks come in packs of 50 and burn evenly. The dhoop sticks are hand-rolled with ground palo santo, Amazon copal resin and a natural gum, and each one burns for about 40 to 60 minutes. Copal resin is burned on a charcoal disc.

What is the difference between incense sticks and dhoop?

Incense sticks have a bamboo core; dhoop sticks are solid, without a core, and give a denser smoke.

How do I burn copal resin?
