TRADITIONAL USES
It is used to guard against acne, in amenorrhea, such as antibacterial, anti-hepatotoxic, inflammation, anti-malarial, anti-pyretic, anti-septic, anti-viral, asthma, as an astringent in gonorrhea, for biliary and urinary tract, as a carminative, healing stones, for skin diseases in renal disorders and inflammation of the liver and gallbladder, diabetes, and digestive, in dysentery, for dysmenorrhea, in dyspepsia, as a diuretic, emmenagogue, appetite stimulant, stomach disorders, yellow fever, as galactógeno in hemorrhage, hepatitis, in hydrops, against jaundice, for infections of the mouth and throat, sexually transmitted infections (gonorrhea and syphilis), as a mild laxative, for Nephritis, bile problems against scratch, as a tonic, in the cold, for allergic rhinitis, against salmonellosis, scabies, as a sedative, for gastrointestinal disorders and as an anthelmintic.

Traditional Use: Relieves pain, red eyes, swelling and temperature of the inflamed area.
Preparation: Crush, clean fresh plant roots and stems on a wooden table on a wooden bench, until a uniform consistency. Administration: External. Dose: Apply the substance by rubbing into the swollen areas in the morning and evening, to decrease symptoms and improve the patient’s condition.
